Mark Wittcoff is President and Chief Executive Officer of Landmark Equity Properties and he has thirty-four years of experience managing every type of property for owners and developers throughout the United States. Mark's responsibility for diverse portfolios that have included 20,000,000 square feet of commercial space in every asset class gives him broad perspective representing both individual and institutional owners.
Beginning in 1987, as a management trainee and leasing manager with Tishman West Companies, he became a general manager with publicly traded REIT Arden Realty, Inc. and then vice president of retail brokerage in Coldwell Banker Commercial's top performing U.S. office, senior portfolio manager at Black Equities Group and chief operating officer of KW Commercial Boston. Recently, Mark was managing director of investor relations at Standard Management Company, a national commercial real estate syndicator.
Mark holds the Certified Fund Manager (CFM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) designations and he received a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and he studied Management at Harvard Extension School. Mark serves as Chairman of the UCLA Stroke Rescue Program Council of Advocates and he is a member of the UCLA Health System Board and a member of the Jewish National Fund Los Angeles Board.

Executive Vice President and
President, Landmark Equity Properties Consulting Group
Susan Loranger is Executive Vice President of Landmark Equity Properties and President of Landmark Equity Properties Consulting Group. She brings over 35 years of commercial real estate experience working with and advising institutional as well as private equity owners. Susan specializes in maximizing the profitability and value of her clients’ portfolios through the implementation of innovative leasing and marketing strategies, as well as involvement in development, acquisitions, and dispositions.
During Susan’s tenure as Vice President and Director of Marketing and Leasing for Douglas Emmett for approximately 20 years, Susan managed all asset leasing operations of the Class A office and retail real estate portfolio during its growth from 568,000 square feet to approximately 10.5 million square feet, earning her recognition by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the “Most Successful Women in Commercial Real Estate”.
Of the Landlord representation lease transactions she has been involved in, the tenants ranged from small businesses to many distinguished leaders such as Bank of America, Sony, KB Home, Time, Inc., J. Paul Getty Trust, UCLA Health Systems, Creative Artists Agency, Macerich Company, HealthNet, Moss Adams and iHeartMedia, to name a few. Susan has concluded more than 3,000 lease transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $6 billion and has represented over 15 million square feet in properties typically ranging in size from 100,000 to 1,000,000 square feet. Specific office, retail, medical, mixed-use, and industrial properties have been located predominantly in California but have also been in Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas.
Susan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English and Economics from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario Canada. Directly following University, Susan relocated back to the United States, took up residency in Los Angeles, and embarked on her commercial real estate career.

Board of Advisors
Arthur Pearlman is Chairman of the Board of Advisors of Landmark Equity Properties and Chairman of the Arthur Pearlman Corporation that is the developer of 41 mixed use shopping centers throughout California. His responsibilities included predevelopment tasks, site selection, City processing, entitlements through development, construction and occupancy.
Previously, Mr. Pearlman was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Riley / Pearlman / Crow Company, a joint venture with Trammell Crow Co. He started his 38-year career of real estate development as Co-President, Partner and Founder of the Riley/Pearlman Company. Riley/Pearlman is a recognized leader in the development of approximately six million square feet of quality, mixed use projects located throughout California. The projects typically ranged in size from 100,000 to 1,000,000 square feet of tenant space consisting of some of America’s best tenants and retail stores. Mr. Pearlman’s expertise includes the development and ownership of mixed-use projects.
Mr. Pearlman began his real estate career in 1968 with the founding of Foresight Systems, Inc., a Century City based management consulting firm with offices opened in Europe, New York, Chicago and Houston. During his
10 years in that business, prior to selling the company to United Telecommunications, Inc., he developed “Foresight” the industry’s first plain-English language software system and consulted with more than three hundred-Fortune 500 companies regarding their corporate strategy, real estate holdings, new Community Planning as well as business and financial plans.
Previously, as a Senior Consultant with Peat, Marwick, Livingston & Co., his duties and responsibilities included the management and performance of client engagements within the commercial industry, as well as with U.S. and
foreign government agencies.
Mr. Pearlman majored in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry and received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his M.B.A. degree from Pepperdine University’s “Presidential/Key Executive Program”.
Mr. Pearlman served as Chairman of the Board and President of California Business Properties Association (CBPA); he remains an active member of its Board. He was elected as California’s State Director and previously as Program Chairman for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He served on the Board of Directors for UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management, Real Estate Alumni Association. Mr. Pearlman was the Dean for ICSC’s Real Estate Development at Wharton’s Graduate School of Business and USC / Lusk School where he taught Real Estate Development. He has also taught at UCLA’s Graduate School of Business and lectured at USC and ICSC.
In 2010, ICSC’s international trustees presented Mr. Pearlman with the Lifetime Distinguished Leadership and Service Award. Mr. Pearlman continues to be selected as an Expert Witness for various real estate matters. He is a licensed real estate broker in California.

Senior Vice President
Lisa began her legal career as a Real Estate Associate with O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles working on property acquisitions, commercial office and industrial leasing; mortgages, ancillary finance transactions, multi- state loan transactions; and representing school districts on public/private joint venture projects from the RFP developer selection, through District board review and contract execution stages. Her aim to work in the public sector and positively impact much needed school construction in Los Angeles led her to join a former client, the Los Angeles Unified School District as Legal Counsel housed in the LAUSD’s Planning & Development Office.
At LAUSD, she completed joint use and joint venture development agreements, leases, ground leases, equipment financing, school construction contracts, and a local school bond initiative to revise the 66 2/3rds requirement to facilitate bond passage. With her assistance to the LAUSD’s Planning & Development Office, the first school bond passed in 30 years leading to actual school construction, and paving the way for other successful school construction bond measures.
Lisa returned to the private sector after LAUSD, and joined FSR Brokerage, Inc. (aka Fred Sands Realtors), then a privately held company, as a transactional attorney. As an integral member of FSR’s main residential arm, she handled commercial asset management, franchise, corporate relocation, escrow and title insurance divisions. Lisa left FSR after FSR’s acquisition by Coldwell Banker and joined Douglas Emmett, Inc. (“DEI”), a publicly traded and self-managed real estate investment trust with a 15.3 million square feet portfolio of commercial real estate, as in-house Counsel.
Over the course of 14 years with Douglas Emmett, Inc., she generated and enhanced revenue by successfully drafting, negotiating and closing hundreds of commercial office and ground floor office/retail lease transactions across DEI submarkets in Los Angeles and Honolulu from letter of intent through premises construction stages. Prior to joining Landmark Equity Properties, Lisa was a senior attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, where as a member of the law firm’s Business Law Department and Real Estate Capital Markets Group, she represented landlords and tenants with large and small scale commercial leases and subleases in California.
Lisa is a member of the California Bar who received a J.D. with honors from New York University School of Law and a B.A. with honors from City University of New York, Queens College. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Mediating the Litigated Case from Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution
Lisa volunteers as Editor-in-Chief of the Caribbean Literary Festival and she serves as an Autism Advocate with Together for Choice and as a Docent at the Mildred Mathias Botanical Gardens.

Senior Vice President
Michael Dotterer joined Landmark Equity Properties in 2016 as Senior Vice President and he advises our clients on property marketing strategy, project leasing and social media engagement. Mike has 30 years of experience in marketing as the founder of 401 Network and multiple successful ventures. He received a BA in Public Policy from Stanford University, an MPA from Columbia University and studied economic history at the London School of Economics. Mike is the former Vice President of the United Nations Business Council and past President of the NFL Alumni Northern California Chapter. He is a member of the 1984 NFL Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Raiders and a member of the Stanford University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Eroca Kay is a licensed real estate broker in California who joined Landmark Equity Properties in 2016 as Vice President. She has 35 years of commercial and residential real estate brokerage and management experience representing owners and occupants of every type of property in investment sales and lease transactions throughout Southern California. Eroca studied Communications at the University of California Los Angeles and she was recently recognized as a Life Member of the Greater Los Angeles Board of Realtors and she is a member of the Palm Springs Board of Realtors.

Bill Vicente joined Landmark Equity Properties in 2016 as Vice President of Operations following his retirement from 33 years of service as a police officer. He received numerous awards for his service in law enforcement and he has extensive investigative experience. Bill supports the firm's due diligence assignments and he represents our client's interests with municipal government agencies. He has served as a private security consultant to office and retail building owners since 1980. He received a BA in Music Education from Webster University and he is an accomplished professional musician.

Max Levin joined Landmark Equity Properties in 2020 as Asset Manager. He received a BA in Financial Economics from Columbia University where he formed his own hedge fund that raised $250,000 and he recently won the New York City Founder's Live Pitch Competition. Prior to attending Columbia, Max served as a Special Forces Paratrooper in Israel's Defense Forces. In 2014, he received the Purple Heart and the Defense Minister's Award of Excellence for his actions in combat as a squad commander in Operation Protective Edge. Max is the author of Under the Stretcher, a book about his experience in the Gaza-Israeli war published by Red Penguin Books that will be released in 2020.

Joel Rosenthal joined Landmark Equity Properties in 2020 as Asset Manager and Research Analyst. Previously, he was a Principal Designer at Theravision Health Informatics, a medical technology start-up company working with Jacobs Medical Center in San Diego, and he subsequently was selected for the Southern California Real Estate Alliance Mentorship Program. Joel received a BS in Cognitive Science with a minor in Linguistics from the University of California San Diego. During college, he was a student researcher in the Center for Research in Language and the UC San Diego Design Lab performing research in collaboration with SAP and Qualcomm.

Alberto Tapia joined Landmark Equity Properties in 2020 as Security Manager for Property Safety and Security. He is a University of Southern California Police Officer and a Reserve Los Angeles Police Officer with 15 years of service. Alberto is a California Certified Cities for Peace Ambassador for at-risk gang intervention programs with specialized training in community relations and crime prevention. He received a Criminal Justice certificate from College of the Canyons and he is a former Police Youth Cadet Advisor. Additionally, Alberto is a member of the Los Angeles Police Department Boxing Team who competes in charity events for the benefit of Special Olympics and City of Hope Cancer Research Hospital.

Sam Freshman advises our clients on acquisitions and financing and he is Chairman and Founder of Standard Management Company, a national real estate investment firm that he established in 1961. Mr. Freshman founded and was the managing partner of the law firm Freshman, Marantz, Orlanski, Cooper & Klein, which is now the Los Angeles office of K & L Gates. Mr. Freshman is an expert on real estate investment and syndication who served as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at the USC Marshall School of Business, and as an expert witness in over eighty cases. In addition, Mr. Freshman is the author of numerous articles on real estate matters. His book, Principles of Real Estate Syndication, is in its sixth edition as a widely used text in many business schools. He is Chairman Emeritus of Stanford Professionals in Real Estate, (SPIRE) an organization of Stanford University alumni working in the real estate industry. Mr. Freshman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and his law degree from the Stanford Law School.

George is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He received a Master in International Relations from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from St. John’s University. George is currently a PhD candidate in Business Information Technology, specializing in Machine Learning at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Cary Uretz is Managing Partner of MAB American Management, a division of the Australian real estate investment fund, MAB Corporation.
